What I have loved most about this home is the character and warmth that only a historic Victorian home can offer. Built in 1892, it has personality that simply can not be replicated in new construction.
We love to sit in the sunroom by the wood stove on cold winter days, relax in the original summer kitchen that has become a beloved music room, and gather with friends and family for holidays and dinners in the kitchen and dining room. The finished third floor has been an incredible bonus space offering flexibility for guests, an in-home gym, and additional bedrooms.
One of our favorite things is being part of the Zelienople community. The house is close enough to enjoy the charm of what town has to offer but also has a backyard that is private and peaceful, offering a private retreat. The fully finished third floor includes two bedrooms and a large living area, making it ideal for guests, a home office, recreation space, or multi-generational living. The partially finished basement provides additional usable space for hobbies, storage or entertainment.
A standout feature of the property is the original summer kitchen, which has been thoughtfully finished into two separate rooms, offering endless possibilities for a studio, office, music room, workshop, or private retreat.
The home includes multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, a garage, a shed, multiple outdoor seating spaces, and numerous updates while maintaining the character that makes historic homes so special. Located in the heart of Zelienople, this property offers a unique opportunity to own one of the area’s distinctive Victorian homes with space, charm, and versatility rarely found today.
Beautiful 1892 Victorian home offering a rare combination of historic character and flexible living space. This unique property features multiple living areas, two working gas fireplaces, a sunroom with a wood-burning stove, and original architectural charm throughout.
What the owner loves about this home
What I have loved most about this home is the uniqueness of the home and the location. The house is on a corner lot and is two blocks from the park and three blocks from the quaint main street, which offers numerous restaurants, boutiques and other original small businesses. The historic town of Harmony is also within a ten-minute walking distance, also offering restaurants and unique small businesses. Finally, the walking/biking trails that are interconnected between Zelienople and Harmony offer year-round outdoor activities.
