    What's special

    Lake-home charmBeautiful water views
Rare opportunity to own a true lakefront home directly on Lake Lanier in Cumming, this 3-bedroom, 2-full-bath property offers beautiful water views and direct access right from your backyard. Perfect as a primary residence, weekend getaway, or investment property, this home offers privacy while still being conveniently located near shopping, dining, and everyday essentials. This Lake Lanier waterfront cottage is on deep water you can see from the big windows of the open main living area. The huge two slip party dock is scheduled for renovation in the spring and is easy to check on from inside the house. The main living area has a beautiful view of water from inside and also gives a view of both sun rise and sun set! Enjoy the ultimate lake lifestyle, morning coffee by the water, boating and swimming all day, peaceful evenings overlooking the lake. The home features a comfortable, functional layout filled with natural light and lake-home charm. In just moments you can be on Ga-400 for the half hour drive to I-285. I love this place winter and summer, with its upstairs deck for morning coffee and late night stargazing, and lower level patio for summer gatherings and fire pit fun. The lower level has good big windows and opens on the lake side onto the patio with its tongue and groove oak ceiling, a sheltered spot to gather outside in any weather. The lower level is made up of the third bedroom, a large master suite with a designer tiled full bath with a large shower and tiled bench, as well as a spacious family room with a fireplace. The street level has two bedrooms, one remodeled, a full bath, with recently tiled floor to ceiling with a charming novelty swan sink faucet, and powerful water pic shower. The entry leads into the renovated open main living area with the pleasant surprise of the stunning view of the inlet and cove that don’t go dry even in low water, and of the dock through tree tops. I think it is a beaver that lives under the shed by the space where I am planning a meadow, a gentle creature that likes to come out and sun itself but is very shy. Deer wander by, blue birds sometimes pick these bird houses, hawks hunt-- it is an interesting place year around. This house is in Cumming with its excellent and sought after Forsyth County school system. It’s a great place to raise a family, or retire where the amenities can be enjoyed from inside or outside, a vacation to live! Lakefront homes like this are rare, don't miss your chance to own on Lake Lanier!
What the owner loves about this home
A wall of expansive windows frames breathtaking views of sparkling water, lush green trees, and your private two-slip party dock. Tucked into a peaceful inlet, the property offers deep water access with an easy paddle through scenic coves leading directly to Bald Ridge Marina. Deep water waterfront cottage with great views of water, trees, and wildlife, and big windows overlooking the inlet and cove that can be seen from inside the house or from the lower level looking over the patio. Excellent views from inside and outside of the house, a rarely situated home close to the water with both sunset and sun rise views through large windows as well as the deck. Also walking the short distance to the huge 2 slip dock and getting into my kayak or canoe or sailboat, and going the very short distance with coves and inlets to explore on the way to Bald Ridge Marina and the main body of Lake Lanier. Also the short 20 miles to Dahlonega and the small town festivals and restaurants, or on to many trails leading to waterfalls and beautiful views. And, the boat clubs and restaurants on the lake. This place is a bit of a paradise! I love the big master bedroom and the downstairs den with fireplace. The open plan main living space on the street level mostly renovated (except the kitchen and a few details) is where I spend most of my inside time. I love the designer tile that matches the stained glass window in the master bathroom as well as the other stained glass that brightens the stairway. The upstairs bath is cottage-y with an antique mirror and an eccentric swan sink faucet. I love living in on land that has had zero poisons in over 25 years too. There is an awful lot to love about this house and I will miss it. Possible owner financing with substantial down payment.
