Fishing in the lake is very good as you can catch rainbow trout, world class large mouth bass, catfish, perch and bluegill. Every November the Coho Salmon enter the lake via TenMile Creek. Fish in the Umpqua River and the ocean just 10 minutes away. Great salmon fishing, rockfish and all the crab you can eat. Enjoy the spectacular Lakeside fireworks show from your deck or living room, every year on the lake as well as the annual speed boat races. We have used it the last 14 yrs as a summer home and have loved every minute of it. Walk from your to anywhere in Lakeside within minutes, the Lakeshore Lodge, post office, Yoda’s Hut, the marina, McKays market, all within minutes on foot or seconds by vehicle.
