    Large home with lots of attractive custom features inside such as upgraded hardwood countertops, floors, doors, trim and shelving. You'll experience it right away at the entrance for it has a great set of cabinets for coats and mitts and cubby/seats for boots for each family member! The basement is fully finished except the utility space. There's a craft/storage room and a workout room complete with a mirror and stationary bike! There's also wired in-ceiling speakers in several rooms for those who love music! Includes a heated 3-car garage and overhead pulley system for a canoe or kayak. The neighborhood is quiet with a fair amount of children aged 5-10. Lots of trails nearby, including a small park for children and a meadow/woodland for walking and XC Skiing. Follow the paved Brown's Creek Trail (the old Zephyr RR) into historic downtown Stillwater-- one of the best small towns in all of the midwest-- for all the great shopping, relaxing with a coffee, antiquing, eating and drinking you'd ever want! The house is located on a unique eye-brow like drive off of a secondary street that leads to what eventually ends in a cul-de-sac. Between the secondary street and the house is a small gazebo park with a couple of large boulders and a space large enough for ball games with the kids, including soccer (we enjoyed it for many years with our kids!). But the best part of the location of the lot is that it can't be designed any safer for kids! In terms of the outdoors around the home, you may or may not like it, but we'd made the decision to go natural in the yard to encourage pollinators and bird visits. The house backs up to a small stormwater pond and a wooded creek that feeds into Brown's Creek/Trail. In the early spring, pond peepers are very loud and active. in late spring and early summer, the trees are filled with a cacophony of grey tree frogs that are very pleasant to fall asleep to, or enjoy from either the fire pit or the deck. The backyard is also fenced if you have a dog. Renter is responsible for all utility services, including heat/electricity, cable/satellite/internet, garbage, sewer/water. There is an additional fee for electricity on top of the fee paid to the utility company for power/heat. In practice, your invoiced electricity usage will be lower given that the solar system on the house offsets some of your used energy. The additional fee however pays for the solar system infrastructure that offsets some of your energy needs. Consumables such as light-bulb replacement and back-up battery replacement for the fire detectors shall be the responsibility of the renter. No smoking.
